We were at the Foodture Talent Showcase at the Barcelona Design Centre this November 26th and 27th. We presented there our fermentor prototype and the Domingo necklace.
Foodture Barcelona is the innovation summit for food design, food technology, social food and sustainability. It was great to present our project to a wider audience thinking about the future of food. All your feedback keeps us going!

Poblenou Open Night is an event organised by Poblenou Urban District where more than fifty partner venues open their doors to present a free cultural programme that will fill the streets of Barcelona’s creative district.

We invited the folks at Sudio for a savoury Tempeh Lunch!
The idea is simple, to let people know what we make and to promote homemade tempeh for the benefit of health and the environment. It’s a convivial moment with 100% vegan, organic and seasonal food. We really enjoyed it, so more to come!
We presented the work we have been doing over the last few months as part of our Food Tech 3.0 journey, a 8-month acceleration programme run by Fab Lab Barcelona and FoodSHIFT 2030. Together with 9 other innovators, we explained our project in a petcha-kucha format and in an interactive stand. You can watch the whole conference, or go to 7:09:05 to see us!
This event was part of the Sustainable Food Week of Barcelona, the World Sustainable Food Capital 2021.
Back to our 3D printed tempeh mold, exhibited at Maker Faire Roma 2021 on the Fab Lab Barcelona stand where we were presented as the winners of the Distributed Design Award. Happy to be part of this great family!
To close our Hyper Global / Hyper Local exchange programme, we were live on Instagram with Valentina of My Vegan Fam.
We presented our collaboration about the design and fabrication process of our tempeh moulds. She first tested our moulds and give us feedback, we then co-designed the next version and finally, we supported her to 3D print the new version in a local makerspace Waag (thank you!) in order to test the distributed design and decentralised fabrication side of the project. The new version of the 3D printed tempeh mould is then available on our website. Please use, modify and share!
